The well-established company and quality brand Borek displays an extensive and attractive collection of outdoor furniture, umbrellas and accessories for the terrace. The high level of attention to appearance, experience, quality and service that Borek has stood for for years has now been taken to an even higher level with the extensive renovation of the showroom. Grown from 400 to 1,200 square meters, it is a total experience of the highest order.
Founded in 1977, Borek is not only a highly reputable company, but also a leading brand. We sell high-quality outdoor furniture and umbrellas to retailers or high-end stores and specialty stores. We also provide very beautiful, national and international projects together with leading architects.
And in September 2013, at the Maison et Objet trade fair in Paris, Borek launched the MAX&LUUK brand, a collection of heartwarming and eye-catching furniture in fresh pastel colors, which gives atmosphere and radiance to every dream spot. This garden furniture brand, affectionately named after the two sons of Borek owner Frank Bogaers, is strongly focused on the mid-range segment and is often used in projects. Logical; the frivolous series of furniture exudes fun and happiness. Just like MAX&LUUK itself, which is steadily capturing the hearts of consumers.
Appearance
The two quality brands Borek and MAX&LUUK are presented in the showroom in Oisterwijk. This pilot store by Borek has been beautifully remodeled. Whereas the showroom used to be 400 square meters, it now measures a whopping 1,200 square meters. In the 800 square meters built with it, Borek is presented. In the existing showroom, MAX&LUUK has found its deserved place. New offices and a roof terrace were built upstairs.
Director Frank Bogaers said, “The advantage is that Borek, MAX&LUUK and Bogarden (pilot store) are now in one building, but will go out with one look.” That desire for one overall look was also there two years ago, when he bought the property. For this, he drew inspiration from the specialist par excellence. “Marcel Wolterinck is one of our designers and also a good friend. He advised us on this.” And that expertise has paid off: “I think it turned out very nicely.”

The renovated showroom offers a perfect impression of all current trends and novelties in outdoor furniture and parasols. You will see the finest furniture of an exceptionally high standard, excelling in style, quality, comfort and originality. In mid-April the moment will be there: then the new face of Borek will finally be ready, for everyone to admire and be surprised by this unique world. A world entirely dedicated to enjoyment, offering a warm and welcoming welcome and where visitors can also count on a skilled and
personal advice. “We have short lines, can move quickly and are available six days a week. We like to pursue good service and work with high stock positions. Therein lies our strength. When people buy a product from us or stop by for advice, the total concept has to be right from A to Z.” A philosophy that has been very successfully implemented in the overall concept of the new showroom, as evidenced by the beautiful custom bar in the reception area, the suspended ceilings and the magnificent fireplace. Frank Bogaers: “This new building gives a lot of confidence to our dealers. It confirms that we are working on the future with these people, this company and our brands. We never sit still.”
