Design and study, construction and maintenance
Avantgarden approaches gardens as architecture in the outdoor space. A well thought-out green design must be well-established in its environment and meet all the requirements of its users. That is why Avantgarden’s approach is based on thorough study and expert construction.

Avantgarden’s operation is twofold: on the one hand, a consultancy for garden and landscape architecture; on the other hand a contractor for the realization of private gardens and public and semi-public landscape projects.

Study desk

Every Avantgarden project, be it private, public or semi-public, is based on a thorough study. This includes measurements, soil analysis, legal status of the site, design and implementation plans, specifications and measurement lists and delivery procedures. Of course, all of this takes place in discussions with clients, governments and other actors.

In addition, you can call on Avantgarden as a partner for BREEAM studies, hydrology, tree inventories, improvement projects and sustainability studies in general such as biodiversity. For a number of studies Avantgarden works together with external specialists.

Performance

Avantgarden delivers complete studies for the project work, a number of which can be realized in-house at the request of the client. Avantgarden works together with its own contractors and subcontractors. These are “Design and Build” assignments. In principle, private gardens are always realized in-house, from design to implementation to aftercare.

Location

Most of Avantgarden’s projects are located in Belgium and Luxembourg. For private gardens we travel the world: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Cambodia, the United States, Brazil and Israel.
