Bart van Wijk

My name is Bart van Wijk. Interior and exterior designer, product designer and artist. My main activity at the moment is interior architecture, but I’m working hard to also break through as an artist and product designer.

As a designer & designer I ‘model’ with architecture. Spaciousness, exciting architecture, beautiful axis lines and views, the architecture in fusion with the customization down to the millimetre, the use of materials and colors and the lighting plan ensure a unique and exciting whole. Due to my background as a designer, I also design custom furniture and lighting fixtures.

Everything is continued in the same style. Unlike many of my fellow competitors, I save the ‘styling’ for last and I don’t follow trends, I prefer to avoid them. My own identity and that of my clients ensure the special and ‘out of the box’ result every time.

20 years ago I started my own company and I have built partnerships with architects, contractors, interior construction companies, lighting specialists, constructors and many others, so that the most special plans can be technically implemented and realized.

One of my most recently designed homes (design new villa Noort Brabant) has been labeled by ‘Homify International’ as one of the most beautiful houses in the Netherlands. A residential professional from ‘EDHA Interieur’ from Amsterdam said, when he saw the project ‘Renovation of a canal house in Amsterdam’: “This interior must never be demolished again”. Everything in this interior has been custom-designed down to the millimeter. My inspiration for the kitchen was two Ipods and a glass hood lid from a Ferrari.
