Erik van Gelder

The love of nature is in the DNA of landscape architect Erik van Gelder. His grandfather had a nursery and was busy with gardening, and his father had a gardener business. It was a logical step for Erik to study garden architecture at the Larenstein International Agricultural College in 1999.

After Erik successfully completed his studies, he was even more impressed by nature. He gained relevant work experience in (inter) national garden and landscape architecture. But he wanted to leave his own mark, so he set up his own design agency in 2004. Erik discovered that his design preference went to exclusive gardens for the highest segment.

Customization as standard
For a number of years, Erik has been playing on the higher segment of the market with the design agency Erik van Gelder. We create our own garden products under the label by Erik van Gelder: sustainable, striking items that create a space and give it a distinct identity.

Erik van Gelder draws the design for small and large gardens, patios and roof terraces, at villas and townhouses, from the city to the countryside.
