Kalfire is a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality gas fireplaces, wood fireplaces and electric fireplaces. The family business was founded in 1981 in Belfeld, Limburg, by the van Melick family. Despite the company’s growth over the years, Kalfire has never lost any of that family character. This translates into a tremendous commitment to its customers, dealers and products and a long-term vision that allows it to continue to innovate.

In 2010, Beijko van Melick took over the business from his parents. Under his day-to-day leadership, Kalfire has further shaped its vision for the design, technology, ease of use and performance of gas fireplaces, wood burning fireplaces and electric fireplaces and has been able to further solidify its position as a trendsetter. Very regularly, Kalfire shakes up the market with high-profile innovations, both technical and aesthetic.

Kalfire is a company that combines the look and expertise of a multinational with the genuine commitment, approachability and warmth of a family business. And have been for nearly 40 years.
