From the shed in the backyard – where he made furniture for family and friends – to his own completely remodeled farmhouse with office, showroom and workshop. Creativity has been in Piet-Jan’s blood from an early age. After high school, several internships and a thorough professional training at the Furniture College, the big break came in 1998 with a complete interior design for the Bergen restaurant “Otto e Mezzo.

Today, Piet-Jan designs in the broadest sense of the word. From complete interiors for homes and vacation homes at home and abroad to luxury apartments, hospitality venues and other businesses.

Piet-Jan designs from the idea that an interior may be lived in and works a lot with wood, but also with other natural materials such as zinc, leather, steel, natural stone, and concrete. Environmental awareness is also an important aspect. For example, he has his own incinerator for residual wood, which powers the entire site.
