Ultra slender steel retro and chair profiles

Years ago, Maud saw a picture of a beautiful steel door in a French home magazine. She asked her husband Hans, a craftsman, to design and produce something similar. We liked the result, good reactions followed and the SteelDoorsHuys was born. The distinguishing factors of this company, are the ultra slender retro steel profiles, customization, workmanship and attention to achieve the best and most beautiful end result for the home or space. “Narrower than the slender steel profiles we use is not possible,” Maud elaborates on the expertise of the SteelDoorsHuys. “The design of the steel doors or partitions should really fit the home. It has to be 100% right. Only then am I satisfied. The slender steel profile is always the same, but by achieving the perfect tessellation and, for example, by using the handles appropriate to that project, you achieve a beautiful end result.” That sense of detail and perfection, that creativity and that artisanal customization is in the DNA of the small-scale and exclusive company.
