Studio 34 South

34 South was born in 2017 from a collaboration between two designers, magnetized by a shared passion for conceptual design and challenging the norms in visual and artistic disciplines. The ideas of 34 South are derived from an international background, and in honor of this, 34° parallel to the South is the latitude connecting both original founding cities.

Chechi Valentine now runs the studio from their office in Amsterdam. She has a focus and passion for pure design and problem solving, digging deep into a design challenge and solving it in every detail. Her diverse experience ranges from consumer product and furniture design to interior architecture and leading design projects in retail, hospitality and residential construction across Europe. Her warmth combined with her refined design skills always creates something functionally smart and aesthetically new.
