Royal Blue Collection translates traditional Delft Blue into ceramic works of art in a contemporary design.

The Royal Blue Collection is the latest collection of ceramic apples exclusively developed and published by InsideOut Luxury. The apples are each a unique work of art, uniting traditional “Delft Blue” with modern design. Each of these creations possesses a sense of rich history and is handmade.

Hand-painted by Royal Delft. The Royal Blue Collection is made up of three lines. The Series, Hand Painted and Custom Made. Each object bears the Royal Delft trademark and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The Royal Blue Collection

Sabine Struycken is the driving force behind the Royal Blue Collection: a unique series of ceramic apples featuring Delft Blue patterns. Sabine Struycken’s designs evoke nostalgia in fans of Delftware, but are modern at the same time. Whereas previously Delftware was often applied flat-filling and symmetrically, the apples of the Royal Blue Collection are characterized precisely by their asymmetry and empty planes. The Royal Blue Collection was previously exhibited at the Amsterdam Hermitage and at fairs in Singapore, New York, Paris and London. The apples were also part of KLM’s “on flight sales” collection. The overall Collection is shaped by, Hand Painted Apples, The Series and a custom made line.
