Formani Launches RIVIO hardware collection in collaboration with Product Design Consultant Gensler
Formani, a global luxury brand in the field of “architectural hardware,” lays out the RIVIO hardware collection. The unique yet ergonomic collection was designed in collaboration with Product Design Consultant Gensler, an international architecture, design and planning firm.
Transition was the key word for Gensler when designing RIVIO. In this case, the transition from something light to something massive. The flowing cutouts allow thumb and fingers to surround the door handle in a unique yet comfortable way, providing a better grip and thus making opening and closing easier. The notch intersecting the handle at the center of the circular section continues its path with a slight slope back to the whole. Ergonomic and elegant, available in two variants: with a curve and with a 90-degree angle towards the neck and rosette.

The two variants from the RIVIO collective – curved or with a 90-degree angle – form the basis of the total collection, consisting of door hardware, window hardware, furniture hardware and other accessories. All RIVIO products are made of stainless steel and available in finishes of matte stainless steel, PVD matte black, bronze and PVD matte gold.
