When they took possession of this lot, it was immediately clear what they wanted to do with it: build a barn home that blends into its surroundings with a beautiful view of the vast farmlands. The lot owned by the clients is very spacious and consists largely of forest. A small portion of the lot may be built on. The clients do not need a large home, but they do want an efficiently laid out home. A logical floor plan and only rooms they actually use.

Thus, the upper floor has one bedroom with spacious walk-in closet and a bathroom-en-suite. The first floor consists of a spacious and cozy living kitchen. A place where they can have a wonderful time with friends, family and acquaintances. And the living room? Fully equipped for the principals themselves. A beautiful and cozy space with an added experience: the view of the ridge. This gives the living room a very spacious feeling. From the living room, patrons walk out onto the covered terrace. Thus, inside and outside connect well.

We chose black stained trusses, natural stone, dark window frames, dark panels, gray stucco and lots of glass. The combination of these materials and the distinctive roofline has created a real eye-catcher.
