In this large garden in Nuenen, classical and modern garden architecture meet in an exciting way. With many works of art and a large pool!

In this project, a villa in Nuenen was renovated in collaboration with the architects of STRK. The front yard was intentionally classically designed and forms a beautiful unity with the architecture of the original classic building.

The new extension is modern and sleek with powerful spatial structures. The landscaping corresponds to this: an asymmetrical tessellation of terraces and green areas. Many shades of green, the species mostly in large groups. Our landscape architect Gert-Jan Schouwenaar pulled the modern look of the interior through to the exterior, so that the transition between inside and outside feels natural.

Garden with modern materials
The terraces are paved with a ceramic tile that can also be found in the kitchen. The steps in this modern garden and also the pool surround are made of this material. High-level detailing and landscaping!
