UPDATE

ID&T is based in the iconic A’DAM Tower on the IJ River in Amsterdam; a structure with lots of concrete and large windows. ID&T asked StudioLIV to furnish their boardroom with an urban look suitable for informal meetings: “We’re going for the feeling that we’re not in an office.”

DESIGN

StudioLIV chose rich materials and warm colors to bring intimacy to the concrete space. The lounge sofas of luxurious petrol-colored velvet contrast beautifully with the concrete and sleek brass table. The meeting room received an epoxy walnut table, green leather chairs with copper-plated frames, a colorful carpet and transparent Moroccan lamps. The wall covering is handmade from banana tree bark strung with gold thread. ID&T is very pleased.
