Bungalow Limmen
In a quiet street in the village of Limmen was a small house with a huge south-facing garden behind the house. This house from the 80s served as a starting point to eventually turn it into a house of size. The main building was equipped with 2 symmetrical outbuildings that enclose the terrace on the garden side like a horseshoe. Around this central terrace is the large living room, the kitchen and the master bedroom. The children sleep on the 1st floor and there is an office.
Due to the classic design language, it seamlessly blends into the landscape environment between the detached bungalows and farm yards. Modern materialization makes it a building of our time. The loft-like layout with heavy roof beams gives the interior a tough, rustic atmosphere. The spaciousness is enhanced by pushing the concrete floor from the inside to the outside. The terrace has a sunken sitting pit so that the unobstructed view from the living room is not interrupted.
