Canopy with slats in Amersfoort

The Amersfoort residents had been musing about a patio cover at home for several years. Sketches in the mind, dreams of the end result … But who is going to make it happen? Through an advertisement from the Volkskrant, the trip to Ede was made. And there the dream is realized.

Versatile in use

The canopy with slats has been in use for some time when we visit. In particular, the versatility it offers is something residents are very excited about. Cozy dining with family and friends or cozy lounging in the evening sun. The glass roof quickly makes it cozy. Also, the sliding wall at the rear provides passage to the garden.

The choice fell on aluminum patio cover Lois. Flexible, slatted walls were chosen for both sides. The wooden or aluminum slats can be adjusted to any position. This allows you to play with light, wind and privacy. A sliding panel was chosen at the rear. This creates a passageway.

Above the dining set, the patio cover is covered with a glass wall. There are cloths under the glass wall that allow you to regulate the heat. On the other side, a conscious decision was made not to add a roof. These residents choose natural vegetation on the grapevine. In a few years, the top will be a beautiful green blanket.
