In a rural setting, Spanjers Architect designed a chic outbuilding with office function. The whole is built of a robustly dimensioned oak structure on which a thatched roof is placed. The facades consist largely of glass sections in black wooden frames. The dense parts of the façade are clad in oak pottery. Through this variety, privacy is achieved in the desired places and the building establishes a fine relationship with its surroundings. As a result, the building merges, and becomes one, with its surroundings.
