Coastal garden
Garden with influence from the coast
A well-designed garden is a feast for the eyes and must first and foremost be a nice place that provides the necessary relaxation. The garden must be able to evoke a holiday feeling. That certainly succeeded in the villa garden in South Holland.
The first thing we notice when visiting the garden is the beautiful surrounding nature that consists of a dune-like environment. Our team of landscape architects has, among other things, used this environment as inspiration for the garden design. In addition to its own coastal and dune environment, influences from abroad have also been examined. It was the wish to design the garden in an Ibiza-like appearance. Ultimately, the “Natural Raw” style was chosen. The design combines the client’s dream, the qualities of the environment and the (interior) architecture.
Connect the garden design with the interior
For the intended open character and desired light incidence, the environment and the existing lot have been critically examined. And a number of surrounding trees have been removed. This made the plot less dark and immediately gave space to place the terraces. In the front and back of the garden, decking terraces have been placed that connect different places. Aspar Tuinaanleg is responsible for the complete construction of the garden. We provided guidance during the project.
In every modern garden design we also look at the connection between interior and exterior. The choice for a ceramic tile (in concrete look), which is laid both inside and outside, ensures a clear connection between inside and outside.
