Contemporary detached house in Doorn

In collaboration with Building Design Architecture, we realized this contemporary detached house in Doorn. Individually designed and fitted with patinated zinc overhangs, cornices and gutters. Zinc gives a luxurious look and is very durable, it is a powerful element that occurs naturally in the environment such as in rocks, soil, air and water. Zinc is a reliable building material with a very long service life, which is maintenance-free and 100% recyclable.

Prefabricated concrete stairs
Gable stucco has been applied. As a result, the house looks fresh, robust and sleek. Combined with the zinc details and flat roof tiles, the house has a modern look. This modern style has continued inside as well. A prefabricated concrete staircase leads to the second floor. Low maintenance and with solid character. To give the stairs a nice color, color pigment was added to the concrete.

Tunnel Fireplace
A cozy gas fireplace provides living enjoyment. These residents chose a tunnel fireplace, also called a see-through fireplace. In this way the fireplace really becomes part of the interior and provides double the pleasure.

Outdoor Living
The large glass facades provide an optimal relationship with the garden. That’s coming home and right back outside, opening the garden doors and enjoying. A luxury canopy for your patio is a valuable extension of your living space. The porch extends the time that outdoor living can be enjoyed.
