Cubist house with natural stone facade in Ede

On the outskirts of Ede, right where the Veluwe begins and where you live completely relaxed one finds the barracks grounds. Not a blank page, but an area with a rich history surrounded by beautiful nature. In these new neighborhoods the greenery is coloring, the old trees are cherished. There is tranquility, which you can easily exchange for the lively city life due to its ideal location. In this special location, against the edge of the forest, HaBé realized a beautiful, cubist house.

Tough materials
The modern cubist-style home was designed by Marco van Veldhuizen and constructed of natural stone masonry, stuccoed facades, woodwork and glass. Tough materials that give the modern home a warm character.

Partially floating porch
At the rear, the property borders the De Sysselt, a vast forest area. Here a spacious terrace has been constructed with a seamless connection to the partially floating veranda. The outdoor fireplace, incorporated in Natural Facade Stone, will provide additional warmth if needed. Solar control glazing was used in the large sliding doors. This ensures optimal comfort; thermal insulation in winter and sun protection in summer. A nice detail are the wooden slats, attached on the outside in front of the frame.

Solar Panels
On the flat roof, out of sight, solar panels are mounted. Solar panels are often associated with pitched roofs, but they can also be perfectly placed on a flat roof. Using the right frames, the solar panels can be optimally oriented to the sun and you can benefit from high yields.

Fine contractor, definitely recommend. We had our detached home built by Habe in 2017. This all went very smoothly. Habe was part of a construction team, which included the architect’s construction supervision. The cooperation went very well and there were few setbacks. The workmanship of really all the people was very good and they were also very friendly. The cleanliness of the construction site was also very noticeable. After completion there were some minor completion issues, these were also all neatly taken care of without us having to go after them ourselves. Appointments are well kept. All in all, a very fine contractor that we can recommend to anyone.
