Especially pleasant living in new construction home in Overveen
In a beautiful spot in Overveen, in the dunes and close to the sea, a unique small-scale new construction project has been realized. Stephanie Pater and her team from Lifs Interior Design have once again created a beautiful project with a good basis and special details.
A good foundation has been created with the wooden herringbone floor, double pivot doors, a fully implemented lighting plan and a spacious kitchen as the heart of the home. The different rooms look spacious and connected. What is immediately noticeable is the level difference from the kitchen to the living room. This gives the home more layering and spaciousness without compromising the transitions between spaces. The stair treads are done in the same color wood as the floor to ensure unity.
“Getting the most out of a space, looking at sightlines and, above all, laying down a good and timeless foundation is what we strive for.”
A real eye-catcher in the living room is the black oak cabinet that reaches to the ceiling. The dining room is in the same space as the living room, yet has its own place. The dining area has beautiful wallpaper and is spacious. To emphasize the height of the home, a large green plant has been placed.
After the interior design was made, a garden plan was designed by Lifs Interior Design. The garden has been completely redone with beautiful wooden shed with porch. Here a spacious decking is installed. Ideal for long summer evenings with family and friends. The garden has several espaliered trees and evergreen hedges. The front yard is also aligned with the backyard. Thus, residents always have a beautiful view of the garden from the house!
