Outdoor living area design: FIER Architects

In downtown Nijkerk is a narrow but long lot where the house and furnishings have been completely redone. The garden could not be left behind and after the design phase, we and our team also completely tackled the garden according to design.

A large ceramic tile patio behind the home provides seating under the porch and beyond. Through a (floating) decking with a beautiful wood structure no less than 20 meters long, you walk between the grass and ornamental plants under the wisteria-covered white aluminum pergolas to the back part of the garden. There, a beautiful residence has been realized with wellness and relaxation as the goal. You can take advantage of a beautiful pool, wonderful Jacuzzi, an open kitchen and much more. At the back of the garden, an automatic opening gate provides access to the garden where a large gravel driveway provides parking.

Herbs for good food and tea can be picked from a vegetable garden at working height, flowers are present year-round and evergreen hedges offer an enclosed but green yard boundary.

Sedum vegetation mats were installed on the extension, porch and flat roofs of outbuildings to add additional greening to the garden.
Garden lighting leads the way in the dark and provides a warm atmosphere to make use of the garden even in the evening and enjoy all its beauty until the late hours. Vacations in your own garden.
