Glass staircase

For an insane home in Amsterdam, we installed these double-quarter open staircases. We worked on a design, with the thoughts, to create the maximum possible spatial effect. The cool combination, 34mm thick glass steps and glass balustrades give maximum lighting effect.

The kick bombs are made of 10mm steel. The steps are subtly supported by steel. We chose to have the structure recede into the wall as much as possible.
