Herringbone parquet at a light, fresh style

This old house was completely remodeled in a light style. This, of course, includes new flooring. This herringbone patterned oak parquet is laid throughout the house. The floor has not been aged and therefore there are no knots in it: after all, that fits better with the sleek interior. To ensure that the parquet floor matches the fresh style of the house even better, Theo van Epen stained the wood in a light color. A perfect example of how Theo van Epen can work with all different interiors.
