It has never been easier to achieve maximum hygiene in the bathroom and toilet: Duravit presents the world innovation HygieneFlush.
HygieneFlush flushing technology and the unique, highly effective antibacterial HygieneGlaze ceramic glaze are now being launched with the successful toilets in the ME by Starck series. There is also the option of equipping the toilet as a SensoWash® shower toilet.

New to the HygieneFlush system is the powerful flushing flow, which is brought into rotation through two orifices. Independent tests show that this new type of surface rinse optimally cleans the entire inner surface of the toilet. The perfectly conceived water flow creates a vortex that guarantees an ideal flush with 4.5 liters of water at all times.

This new technology, developed by Duravit, ingeniously combines the idea of rotary flushing with the open Duravit Rimless rim flush technology and cleans with two parallel flushing streams. The front section is always perfectly cleaned through an upstream opening, unwanted splashing is no longer a problem.

For even more hygiene, all new HygieneFlush toilets come standard with the proven HygieneGlaze ceramic glaze. HygieneGlaze achieves a previously unattainable level of inhibition of bacterial multiplication: about 90% is killed after only six hours and about 99.9% (for example, E. coli bacteria) is killed after 24 hours.

The antibacterial enamel is burned into the toilet. In this way, it is extra effective where bacteria are particularly common. Together, Duravit’s two hygiene features HygieneFlush and HygieneGlaze provide maximum hygiene and protection for the perfect feel-good experience on the toilet.
