Impressive, stately villa in Barneveld

Perfectly in place, this impressive and stately property in Barneveld. Boxxis Architects provided the magnificent design. In close consultation with the clients, HaBé realized this complete family home. It is a beautifully layered villa, in size and style, with lots of light and spaces connected in surprising ways.

Attention to detail
A successful end result begins with listening carefully, first of all to the client’s residential needs. A construction team was assembled together with the clients and the architect; a close successful collaboration with short lines of communication followed. We supervise the construction process from start to finish, relieving the client. Everything has been selected with good taste and realized with attention to detail, resulting in and high-profile villa with a striking and beautiful combination of materials.

Rural atmosphere
The main house consists of a basement with gym, ground and second floor, attic floor, a garden room, terrace, garage cum storage room, pool house with outdoor kitchen, pool and a large garden. The villa is thatched, white plastered to the second floor followed by a wooden finish with a vertical slatted structure. A sleek modern home in country atmosphere. The outbuilding is black and in that sense a nice accent to the main house. At the front of the garage, the wooden truss construction remained visible, and the roof has recessed solar panels. It is both functional and aesthetic.

Transparent with lots of light
The spaces on the first floor are in open communication with each other and together form a transparent whole with lots of light. Wherever you are, everywhere there is contact with other spaces and a view of the garden. Despite this openness, the spaces can be closed off individually with unique bronze pivot doors. The living room with bay window is spacious and has a generous lounge and TV area. With a beautiful element in the interior being the ambient fireplace, it is stylishly finished with a wooden slatted wall and a robust heated marble block. Sublime customization and a real eye-catcher.

Striking garden room
The kitchen with dining area is positioned more toward the garden and provides access to the garden room. The kitchen, with a beautiful cooking and water island in the middle, is the heart of the house. As an extension of the kitchen is the striking garden room adjacent to the terrace. When the aluminum folding doors are opened completely, one large covered terrace is created. This establishes the connection between inside and outside. It is a wonderful place to have drinks, reflect on the day and enjoy a crackling fire with friends and family.

Open ridge
From the dining room, stairs lead to an upstairs room with cozy sofa and television corner and a passage to the second floor with three bedrooms and bathroom. The attic houses the large master bedroom, a walk-in closet and a free walk-in bathroom. The attic floor is left open to the ridge, creating a lot of space despite the many sloping sides.
