Inside look at Paul & Iris

In a beautiful waterfront location stands the stylish home of Paul & Iris. With the remodel and addition on the first floor, they freed up a whopping 20m2 of space specifically for the bathroom. Together, we created their dream bathroom here in which they can bathe in luxury.

To meet the needs of both a walk-in shower, bathtub, spacious sink, toilet and sauna, we challenged Paul & Iris to look at the space differently. The installation of a partition wall, containing an alcove, provides a stylish and practical partition. The chosen layout makes optimal use of the area.

To create a look they both recognize themselves in, we brought together the couple’s wishes and ideas. From the concepts of wellness, luxury, spacious, innovative and stylish, we designed a mood board that exudes their shared style.

In part by applying some color to both the walls and the ridge, we created an atmospheric, serene look in this expansive space. The green-earth tones are reflected in the wall tiles, which are based on the natural stone Calacatta Macchia Vecchia. The same color also appears in all faucets, shower heads and mixer panels, from the Italian brand Geda. This has the effect of creating balance in the whole.

With built-in faucets by Geda and the furniture by Edone, the sink exudes Italian allure. With the gold mosaic at the sink, we made a style statement, but the real eye-catcher in this bathroom is of course the sauna, supplied by VSB Wellness Diessen.
