Installation oval wine cellar 4m x 2m77 at The Hague and Burdinne

In a mansion in The Hague, we installed an oval wine cellar, with external dimensions of 4m x 2m77 and a depth of 2m50. The customer chose a round, glass shutter type Black Edition, but the small version. This hatch has a diameter of 147cm. The metal of the hatch here is in gold instead of standard stainless steel color.

Another client at Burdinne then chose the same model, but finished with a wooden, manual shutter and since we did the installation of the wine cellar in his garage, he chose to lay pebbles just like in the old French wine cellars. The advantage of this is, you can give your wine cellar extra moisture by wetting the pebbles. This can sometimes be useful when the air outside is extremely dry, but normally it is not necessary.

In an oval wine cellar, a standard concrete floor is never laid, but a smooth screed is laid, on which the client can later place whatever he wants. In the project in The Hague, the client chose to have a cast floor installed.
An oval wine cellar is also provided with natural ventilation. In a wine cellar of this size, we will install min. 6 ventilation ducts, 3 of which will be at the bottom and 3 at the top.

The oval cellar is a space in itself and is dedicated to wine lovers who can indulge in the pleasure of tasting and sharing delicious moments with their guests. Its comfortable dimensions and large capacity (from 1420 to 1920 bottles) make it a cellar worthy of the most passionate wine lovers.
