Mansion
During the first encounter with the historic mansion, Kabaz saw the back of the basement as the ideal place to locate the kitchen that was so important to the client. The disadvantage, however, was that the room only had a height of about two meters. By deepening the basement one meter and removing part of the bell floor at the rear, the client now cooks , lives and enjoys in a breathtaking kitchen over six meters high. The huge glass facades and the modern staircase made of bluestone make the already special living space stand out. A seemingly simple detail like the acoustic ceiling contributes greatly to the perfection created. Nice touches include the five-foot-high kitchen cabinets lined with wood in a Hungarian-dot pattern. Kabaz applied that same pattern and material to the floor in the living room. The luxury kitchen is the result of creativity combined with Kabaz’s care of total projects.
