Modernized 1960s villa with gold details

This beautiful 1960s villa, located on the water and surrounded by greenery, was immediately recognized by the new residents at the first viewing as a home with potential. However, considerable work had to be done to turn the somewhat outdated and dusty home into a luxury family home.

The residents, who themselves said they had little knowledge of interior design and, with their busy jobs as lawyers and attorneys, had little time to visit home improvement centers, decided to hire us for the design and interior styling of their home after positive stories from friends who had previously worked with our firm.

The plan we developed together was implemented by the residents themselves. They always preferred the Scandinavian style, but wanted to create a more mature and luxurious style for their new home by choosing hotel chic. Dark wood was a favorite, but the whole thing was not to be too dark. So we chose dark blue next to the dark wood and complemented it with calm sand tones. This provided a balanced contrast and added warm accents.

The centerpiece of the house is the large eat-in kitchen, designed with a curve for cozy conversations at the bar. Grooved panels and authentic brass accents add extra vibrancy to this kitchen.

The result is a warm and peaceful interior with a hotel chic twist, where residents can proudly host friends, have breakfast together at the large table on Sundays and where everyone can enjoy themselves.
