More light in hallway with corner glass arrangement

The hallway can always be a dark place in the house. Especially if the home has no other windows in or next to the front door. In this home in Waddinxveen, the choice was made to remove a structural piece of the hallway and replace it with an arrangement of glass. This corner unit features extra-wide pivot door for a nice, wide walk-through and the feel of a grand entrance.

Using an aluminum tube, pivot door and fixed frame are mounted at right angles to each other. The layout of both door and panel are the same and the door has a width of 140 centimeters.

Aluminum pivot doors are similar to steel pivot doors. The appearance of both doors is similar in many aspects. However, an aluminum pivot door is a lot lighter in weight, so even the extra-wide doors do not require a weighted structure where the door is placed.
