New construction detached house

UNICwonen built a detached house in Eindhoven that is highly sustainable in design and materials. The house is future adaptable to changing living requirements and has higher insulation values than currently required.

The double thermal break of the Infinium sliding door system combined with its stylish minimalist design, was a perfect fit for the smart economy concept. The sliding door with all around structural elements could be incorporated into the home just fine. The floor-to-ceiling windows create lots of light.

In particular, installing the large windows and getting them neatly concealed in the floor was quite a challenge, just because of the overall weight. There was little margin in the construction, but everything fit exactly.
