The principal did not hesitate for a second. The floor in their new home had to be laid by Patrick Treffers of JP Flooring. “Patrick is a top-notch craftsman. You just know he does a good job,” the client praises. The proof is in the living room. A beautiful oak wood floor laid in a coarse herringbone. It is exactly as they envisioned: burgundy, rustic and classic in one.

In the preliminary process, they visited JP Flooring’s workshop to see the woods and colors. Patrick then went to their home with some large sheets so they could get a good impression of what the intended floor would look like in the living room. “He also had alternatives with us so we could choose the best floor.”

They also praise the execution. “Patrick is a perfectionist; you can see that in everything. Nowhere are the baseboards as nice as in the living room, where Patrick laid them.” It is also characterized by great commitment. “We have had many tradesmen over the floor when building our house, but there are few who are as thoughtful and coordinate all the work with the client and contractor as well as Patrick.” For example, he suggested working the stair treads the same as the floor. A great idea, which he implemented with the staircase builder. “Patrick believes in lasting relationships and therefore really thinks with his clients. And he always goes for the cream of the crop.”
