Project Breda

The key word for this Bob Manders-designed villa in Breda is light. By using so many windows in the home, Bob Manders and the clients chose to allow for tremendous light. This is possible in part because the home is situated at the rear of the lot and therefore there is plenty of privacy left. The applied Livium Louvre roof on the front gives this home a surprising appearance.

The Livium Louvre roof is nearly 10 meters long and provides almost the entire front façade with highly effective summer sun protection. Perfect light and magical shadow lines on sunny days are the result. That the residents can sit in the shade in summer and the Livium louvre roof also protects them from the rain is an added bonus.
