Renovation and restyling of country home in Schoten

Old-fashioned Flemish style transformed into contemporary warm interior. Restyling of the living space was based on the client’s choices, including advice on colors, materials and lighting. Stairs and bookcase were stained and finished with black color. Some beams were removed and others cerused. Kalei was used to cover the rough brick wall in the hall and a natural wall covering on fleece was applied. The door was decapped and cerused for a natural look. The kitchen was also painted, including lighting the fireplace with white color.
