Royal penthouse

A high-end apartment in a bustling emerging place in Rotterdam: Rijnhaven District.
 
The institution
It is a beautiful large penthouse that is spacious with lots of light through the amount of windows. This offered the possibility of using a deep blue color as the basis. The layout is separated by walls and custom cupboards to create smaller spaces. Each cupboard is unique and has two functions. There is seating all around and the kitchen is the heart of the room; together and yet separated. The furniture is organic and the lighting is geometric. The house is playful due to the diversity in design and the combination of colors. The master bedroom has its own living space with all related facilities. Both the functions and the finish offer a great sense of luxury.
 
Colors and materials
Matt deep blue as a base combined with brass. This material predominates and therefore determines the rest. The use of wood and upholstery softens the whole. The floor makes it rougher; this also applies to the natural stone in the bathroom. Together it becomes a rich interior with a beautiful diversity of materials. A home of which – by walking around a few times – you get a rich overall picture.
