Rural living pur sang
The residents of this old farmhouse have been refurbishing it for more than six years, and the end is not yet in sight. It could hardly be otherwise, since almost everything the residents do themselves or on their own.
In the end, there are only 24 hours in a day and only 7 days in the week, and both residents also work, so the remodeling takes place mainly in the evenings and weekends.
Meanwhile, the spacious eat-in kitchen is just about finished and the hallway is mostly done, and next year the living room is on the schedule. As floor tile, they chose a robust floor tile of Burgundy dales in soft shades of gray. These floor tiles are sandblasted, point hammered and brushed. This creates a unique look and gives the floor a nice worn character.
Realization: Goudriaan
