Small garden: oasis of calm in busy city

Close to the Eindhoven city center is this walled patio of 70 m2. A wonderful place to retreat and unwind.

Landscaper provides spatial effect
From the living kitchen and the living room you look directly onto the greenery of the garden. A whimsical Carpinus in roof form is the eye-catcher in this regard. Even at night, as the tree is beautifully illuminated by an LED spotlight.

Painting the exterior wall makes the backyard appear much larger and fresher. This is also due to the placement of a piecework wall with openings. Placing them crosswise in space creates spatial tension in the garden. The longitudinal line of the garden is emphasized by the elongated ceramic tiles.

Low maintenance
Both residents of this house work full-time. And so there is little time for garden maintenance. The ceramic tiles are scratch and colorfast. No dirt soaks in. Weeds also have little chance because the tiles are grouted. The piecework wall is plastic and easy to clean. The plantings are watered fully automatically.

Accessories finish it off
A sophisticated lighting plan provides an atmospheric interpretation of the image in the evening. Also note the cute lamp by the dining table and the small spotlights in the openings of the white wall. Stylish comfortable furniture and a cool parasol complete the picture!

Bright front yard
The backyard is sober in design; the front yard features a true floral spectacle! Perennials and ornamental grasses provide a lush display of the seasons. The entrance is inviting in design and parking can be found on the split.
