Like the carefree feeling of a short vacation by the sea: the new Duravit bathroom series Soleil by Starck creates a natural and calm atmosphere with its distinctly subtle lines. The compact series of sinks, WCs and bathtubs expands the design possibilities in the bathroom with a new option characterized by natural softness. Bright and timelessly modern, the design of Soleil by Starck fits flexibly into different furnishing styles. Following on from Starck 3 and ME by Starck, Duravit thus once again offers design with an attractive price positioning in the lower middle segment that is also first-class for the project market.

Sinks with soft contours, perfect for everyday use
At the sinks, the shape is reminiscent of the silhouette of wind-formed dunes. The soft contours and smooth transitions provide discreet generosity while being easy to clean. Thanks to the balanced relationship between the size of the sink, the faucet shelf and the storage space, Soleil by Starck sinks prove to be perfect everyday companions. The fine outer edge as overflow protection also contributes to this. Three sizes of sinks with matching half-base, furniture sinks and undermount sinks are available. A sink for the guest toilet and small rooms completes the program. Duravit has also developed perfectly fitting combination options for Soleil by Starck with bathroom furniture in different price segments. For example, with D-Neo for a more casual look or as a more elegant option with XSquare.

WCs with hygiene plus
The sensitivity to design is also reflected in the Soleil by Starck WCs with filigree, slightly protruding toilet seats that blend unobtrusively into the room. Thanks to the soft-closing mechanism, the seat closes softly and silently. Moreover, it is easy to grip without touching the seat or the ceramic – an essential plus in terms of hygiene. All wall-hung toilets, including the space-saving model with a projection of only 540 mm, feature HygieneFlush flushing technology, which optimally cleans the entire inside of the toilet. The perfectly thought-out water flow creates a vortex that guarantees an ideal flush at any time with 4.5 liters of water. Even more hygiene is achieved when combined with the highly effective, antibacterial HygieneGlaze ceramic enamel. Burned into the inside of the toilet, it ensures that approximately 90% of pathogens are destroyed after only six hours, and approximately 99.9% after 24 hours.

Bath comfort with a unique design
Philippe Starck has masterfully transferred the formal softness and subtle outer edge of the basin into the design of the Soleil by Starck bathtubs. As the most affordable Starck bathtub in the range, it offers a wide variety of options, including in terms of materials with built-in acrylic bathtubs and freestanding DuraSolid® bathtubs. The soft bath rim design simplifies cleaning on all models.

Several one-seat and one two-seat models in planning-friendly dimensions are available for built-in baths with integrated head shelf, which can be optionally equipped with Air System. The free-standing, oval bathtub with a length of 1600 mm is a highlight in this price segment. Designed and manufactured with a single wall, it saves space and still provides interior comfort. The velvety look and feel set the tone perfectly even in small bathrooms. Another plus for the installer: the free-standing Soleil by Starck bathtub arrives on site in a fully pre-assembled state with base and overflow fittings, so ordering, installation and assembly can be done quickly and safely.
