Steel spiral staircase with cutouts

The spacious, central hall of this house lends itself perfectly to a spiral staircase with wide steps. To create additional light and spaciousness, decorative openings were created in the steel balustrade. The steps were smoked and oiled simultaneously with the floor for optimal results. The chandelier in the center accentuates the shape of the staircase; the light falls beautifully through the openwork shapes on the landing.
