A swimming pond is neither a swimming pool nor a pond. It's something between the two. This means that it combines the advantages of both. The biological filtering makes the swimming pond maintenance-friendly and the natural pond look makes it a feast for the eyes.

A swimming pond is a bath in which nature does its work itself, whether or not assisted by conventional mechanical filtration with, for example, a glass filter. Plants such as the commonly used yellow iris or the white iris cultivated for HYBRID POOLS® ensure that the water remains clear in a "swamp zone".
This filter zone can be connected to the pond as well as separated from it. Since algae growth takes place on the wall and bottom of a swimming pond, a vacuum cleaner system is always provided for our types “Improved” and “Ultimate”. In some ponds a 100% biological acid is still used. This excludes limescale and therefore drastically reduces algae growth. After all, algae thrive in places where lime settles.
