Villa G + J Sint Pieters Leeuw
Contemporary single family home with home office. The kitchen takes the lead without being dominant. The office is shielded from the residents without withdrawing completely. The carport and garden shed are located on the north side of the building and are in symbiosis with the house. A padouk covering provides a warm natural accent and contrasts with the snow-white decorative plaster.
The concrete floor of the inside is continued outside, the windows on the south are protected from the summer sun by the paddock awning. Bedrooms only receive eastern and western light. The north side remains completely closed and houses the dressing and inner storage room. A geothermal heat pump fed by a series of PV cells, together with the underfloor heating, provide a very sustainable and almost energy-neutral solution.
E40, PV cells, rainwater recovery, underfloor heating, parquet (floor), concrete floor (ground floor), geothermal heat pump.
