Villa in ‘t Gooi

The possibilities at the Villa in ‘t Gooi were enormous because the design of the interior and exterior were parallel to each other. Interior architect Remy Meijers chose to build around the showpiece of the villa, the stairwell. The stairs seem to float in the hall, as it were, because the stairs are only attached to the floors. All decisions have clearly been thought through, down to the smallest details. The whole is perfectly matched by the right light, choice of materials, sight lines and layout. A trusted collaboration has resulted in a balanced result where everything is right.
