Villa in Ubbergen
A dilapidated 1960s garage building with an upstairs apartment has been transformed into a villa. Beautifully situated against the moraine of Beek-Ubbergen. Despite its minimalist and austere appearance, the villa blends seamlessly among the many monumental buildings of the Rijksstraatweg. A fine example of private commissioning realized on the old shell of the garage building. Both the exterior and interior were designed by the architect at Hubbers Interior Designers. There are stunning views of the Ooijpolder from the four floors of the building. The interior fits like a tailored suit. Purity in form, function and materials are its hallmarks. The villa has a modern look, but refers to historical buildings, thus showing coherence with the surroundings in a conceivable way.
