A fascinating city villa in our Limburg capital of Maastricht
This inspiring urban villa first consisted of two adjoining, stately monumental properties and was unified into one home by ZuidArchitecten. The monumental house from 1734 has a beautiful and romantic appearance. This is due to the frame facade, segmental arched windows, an entrance in Namur stone and partially oval windows The authentic atmosphere of yesteryear goes hand-in-hand with novelties and modern contemporary conveniences.

Elegant master bedroom
Above the kitchen is the master bedroom. The modern bedroom exudes elegance, romance and luxury. It has sublime interior work and an invisible tucked-away air conditioning system. But also a retractable TV at the end of the bed and much more. Another surprise is the walk-in closet, which at the resident’s request, is decorated like a store. In total, this home has 4 bedrooms.

Luxury bathroom
The city villa contains a total of 3 bathrooms, two of which are located in the left part of the house. Near the 3 bedrooms for the children of the family. The other bathroom is located near the master bedroom. You imagine yourself in a modern and luxurious world when you step into this bathroom. A large shower stall with a rain shower and a great bathtub combine with the marble floor to create a beautiful picture.

Authentic with a modern twist
The transitions from the former two properties are smooth and seamless. The former basement of the right building is now the fine living room. A basement vaulted corridor connects it to the relaxation area with bar and the courtyard garden. “This basement used to house a cheese restaurant. The walls and ceiling were black with soot and smoke, and because of the moisture, there was mold on the walls here and there. We steamed off the ceiling and walls, installed a moisture barrier under the natural stone floor and installed two ingenious 100 Herz cabinets. Those keep the room Eco dry. This here really is my domain!”, beams the homeowner.
