This beautiful kitchen design with many highlights comes from the quiver of a beautiful company with a telling name: Hollands Maatwerk. It is Dutch design for the most exclusive market; all custom-made, of course. This fantastic kitchen is the result of the villa residents’ wish: not a kitchen with eye-catchers, but a kitchen as one true eye-catcher in itself. In this design nothing is too crazy: golden taps by Quooker, exclusive appliances by Gaggenau, an island of four meters, two (!) sinks and induction hobs including Japanese griddle, knobs incorporated ín a solid marble top, cabinet walls finished in blue steel and so on. The list is endless. Watch and admire!

Routing
Let’s start at the beginning. The floor plan of this kitchen was first scrutinized: what can and cannot be done. The square footage of this eat-in kitchen actually provides all the space you need to make a big splash. Great thought has gone into its layout. For example, a vertical see-through fireplace was placed in the semi room divider to keep things open and provide warmth. Furthermore, a giant island was chosen, giving you the perfect routing. Indeed, the cooking area becomes extra large with many possibilities for movement. Then the lighting plan was adjusted accordingly, so you have nicely concealed functional lighting above the island and wall cabinets. This design even left room for a view from the kitchen into the indoor garage where an exclusive car is showing off.

Complement
Of course, Hollands Maatwerk goes much further than drawing in a kitchen. A high end kitchen is not complete until it is fully complemented with beautiful materials and useful extras. The aesthetic is completely left to the Ice Jade green marble top that is a whopping 15 inches thick. Yet even more was allowed to unpack. Therefore, instead of choosing gold-colored kitchen fronts for the island, real brass was chosen. This material is polished and finished with a special lacquer, so you can see and feel the real thing. To keep the image so high end, buttons ín the leaf were chosen. This keeps your eye drawn to the beauty and actually not so much to the functionality.

And yet the story goes so much further. The Teppanyaki griddle allows you to prepare worldly dishes in this dazzling kitchen. Because you also have two induction plates at your disposal, a 7-course dinner is a breeze. Of course, this space also lends itself perfectly to having a cup of coffee or a drink in full relaxation. The pantry bar perpendicular to the island is the perfect place for that; with the same marble top, but more subdued cabinetry finish. The wine cooler and built-in coffee corner are also not to be missed. Last interesting fact: the slats that act as room dividers are made of the same wood as the wall cabinets. Finesse to the detail!
