Villa Westland
This modern detached villa is located close to Delft. The exterior of this villa is a beautiful pure white composition of white corian with glass. Linda Pol already worked on the development of this special villa in the first sketch phase of the architectural architect. The challenge in this project was to transform the beautiful minimalist architecture of the building into a warm and comfortable family home. The interior of the house is designed in such a way that, despite the size of the house, the residents have contact with almost the entire house from the living room. Much use has been made of a mix between American walnut and travertine. The base is ; just like the building – sleek and pure design. The color scheme and material choices are warm, luxurious. Functionality is of paramount importance, the house is equipped with domotics and all modern technical facilities.
In the evening, the house transforms into a special intimate atmosphere through the perfectly thought-out lighting plan. The wellness has a permanent connection with the house by means of a glass corridor. In this corridor, the only traces of the house that previously stood on this spot are visible. Previously there was an Italian gallery with marble statues here. It was decided to leave it standing and to paint it black with a wink.
