Villa with a sophisticated balance
Modern and transparent architecture, but warm and atmospheric, and in harmony with the surrounding agricultural landscape. These were the frameworks within which we started designing a villa.
Main role for masonry
The result is two slender wings, built parallel to each other. A glass staircase provides connection. Much attention has been paid to the choice of masonry. Petersen’s elongated Kolumba stone enhances the horizontal architecture. The color has been chosen in such a way that the villa blends in beautifully with the landscape. Yet the house is certainly not inconspicuous. We created an exciting contrast by balancing the wings on the edge of a mound.
Closed and open character
To guarantee the privacy of the residents, the house has a closed character on the side of the public road. On the other hand, we use a lot of glass at the rear to experience the beautiful landscape as optimally as possible. Underneath the house, dug into the mound, is a luxurious wellness area with an adjoining terrace.
