Work in progress
For the interior of this beautiful villa in Oisterwijk, Meijs Wonen was commissioned to provide the entire interior design. However, the residents knew exactly what they wanted. They scoured several interior design fairs in Europe for inspiration, and since there were six of them, they went big.
This villa – which has only just been built – already looks attractive thanks to the Mortex floor with a changing pattern and natural materials. Of course, it also helps that beautiful furniture, lighting and accessories were used throughout. “We wanted a cool house that fit into its surroundings with a semi-professional kitchen and a contemporary interior,” said the gentleman of the house.
From the front, this home looks understated and secure, but from the backyard, the interior reveals itself almost completely. Plenty of light and privacy. Two things that don’t often go together. Although the façade is minimalist, upon entering you are immediately surprised by the view and the materials used, such as the striking marble kitchen island and the diverse art. Another eye-catcher is the tree, which is incorporated into the architecture and refers to the surrounding nature. Inside and outside flow seamlessly together here. Just look at the wood that also returns inside and the accent color green. This warm hue was a hit at interior design fairs and seems right at home here.
