Join us on a dream trip to Kontiki Beach Resort Curaçao. Here at night you imagine yourself in a tropical experience fully illuminated with 12V outdoor lighting from in-lite. All LED lights at the complex were strategically plotted and installed by in-lite LAB.
Exotically lit
At Kontiki Beach Resort Curaçao, in-lite shows that there are no limits to the possibilities of 12V LED lighting. The tropical plants at the resort come alive at night thanks to in-lite’s natural light. Moreover, the lighting allows visitors to find their way and use the facilities safely at night.
Fully SMART
This project incorporates 25 SMART HUB-150 transformers that together power more than 3 kilometers of 12V ground cable. There are 1,479 fixtures connected on the site that switch on fully automatically as soon as the sun goes down, and it is also possible to control these lights via a convenient app. This unique evening experience was developed by the lighting specialists at in-lite LAB who also provided the installation.
One with nature
The resort has worked with lighting that blends perfectly with the tropical plantings.
For example, SCOPE outdoor spotlights with handy accessories have been used to illuminate trees from the trunk so that passersby can enjoy the evening without being blinded by the light sources. SWAY outdoor lights were installed among the shrubs and along the paths. These striking downward-shining fixtures on a flexible stand rise above tropical plants and gently sway in the breeze.
The right combinations
By thoughtfully combining lighting, in-lite LAB has created balance between atmosphere and functionality. The lighting creates shadows that add texture and depth to the beautiful nature at the resort at night. Since the installation, more and more evening photos of the resort have been appearing on social media, according to the hotel manager.
