New models of Olivari door handles at Intersteel
Famous architects design Olivari door handles
New designs for door handles have recently been produced by a number of high-profile architects, including Rem Koolhaas, and marketed by Olivari. They are sleek yet graceful models in the popular colors anthracite matte, bronze matte and stainless steel matte. As exclusive supplier for the Benelux, Intersteel proudly presents these door handles.
Matching round or square rosettes are designed with the door handles. As an alternative to the rosette, a narrow horizontal shield has been developed that acts as a backdrop or extension of the door handle, making it appear as one integrated whole. These horizontal shields are available in rectangular or oval versions.
Rem Koolhaas calls the ABC door handle he designed, “An archetypal handle that stems from the simplicity of the square section. The beautiful design, subtle details, and high quality also characterize the other new Olivari door handles on rosettes, such as the Lugano, the Milano and the Diva. These were also designed by architects who have more than earned their spurs, such as Antonio Citterio, Carlo Colombo and Luca Casini. Both the door handles on shield and the door handles on rose are made of brass with an ironclad PVD coating.
